This is Ola. Ola is one of the last surviving Hawaiian monk seals. This is her story.
The Hawiian monk seal is among the most endangered species on the planet. They are primarily targeted by ocean pollution. Frequently these seals will confuse clear plastics as jellyfish, when this plastic is consumed it fills their stomach up, they are then unable to sense hunger and often die of starvation.
Hawaiian monk seals are the most endangered species in Hawaii.
Clean water isn’t a luxury, it’s life or death.
