At seventy-one% we create jewelry to create change. As highschoolers, it’s very easy to feel hopeless in terms of having the ability to dictate our futures. To see our lakes, our rivers, our oceans polluted by our very own species was jarring, so we created seventy-one%.
This business creates an ecologically sustainable product using reclaimed materials for which 71% of the profit goes towards Water.org, an organization heading efforts for the conservation of all forms of water. The rest of the profit goes back into the business to help produce educational materials, organize events to give back, and continue to create pieces which would have otherwise gone in the trash.
